There is definitely something about the taste of food and drink that can whip us back through time or around the globe in the flash of a moment.

I just had a cup of black tea (Trader Joe’s brew). The taste and smell, the very texture of the flavor, instantly transports me to that first breakfast in Oxford. I was sitting at a simple wood table having yogurt and granola with toast on the side and tea with one lump looking out a window to a beautifully overcast morning.

One cup of tea and I just took a quick vacation. How about that?
