Reggie Fils-Aime is the President of Nintendo of America. Phil Harrison does something with the PlayStation 3 for Sony (i.e. I don’t know his position). They were both at the Game Developer’s Conference this week. Click below for a look at how executives roll and a lesson in taking someone to the mat.
Take music from The Fray, a console war, and people with too much time on their hands. Mix together and you get something funny enough that non-gamers probably get this.
One of the best games ever created was just released on the Nintendo Virtual Console for download on the Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Who got it first?
Europe.
?
Here’s hoping this means the US will see this in the queue on Monday.
UPDATE: Looks like Monday will be the day I get this game.
An article over at Joystiq begs the question: is it better to wait until Christmas to release “killer app” games for a video game system to boost holiday sales but lose interest in the until then? Or do you release your best games as they are completed in order to satisfy your customer base and early adopters, but maybe not get as big a kick in the Q4 profit margin?
I vote for keeping the customer base happy, but I’m an earlier adopter than most of the people I know (or one of the only adopters when it comes to some video games).
What do you think?
I didn’t drool at this one, but I’m thinking about the theater system at my church…
I’m posting this from my Wii!
They have just released a trial version of the Opera web browser to use and it looks very nice.
I don’t expect that I will post much from here, but it’s pretty cool.
Someone has a good sense of irony.
