Alright ladies, it’s time for a question for you (knowledgable guys may contribute too, of course).
The God-send of all web sites, Lifehacker, posted about the Top Ten Cheap Dates and I want to know if you think these are good dates that happen to be on the low-end financially or truly cheap dates.
You can see the list of ten at AskMen.com (ironic that I’m asking women in turn). Please note that it’s a men’s site, apparently, so some of the advertisements may not be geared towards women or be blatantly offensive. Probably not entirely safe for work, depending.

I think they are good dates. Then again, Matt and I used to go up to Ford Park with sandwiches and read the Griffin and Sabine series. More to the point, which the article does not address, is that for these dates to work well, the guy really needs to know the girl. Any date that allows you to focus on her (and only her) is a great date.
They are not bad, but some are definitely not first date material. Hiking can be a very intimidating experience on a first date, unless you have known the person awhile or are hiking with other friends (secluded, miles from civ…so on…). Same goes for the winery, I would think that your date would wonder if you are just trying to get them drunk.
However, if you know the person and are comfortable with one another, then these are fine inexpensive dates.
Sorry for responding, I just feel like one of the girls sometimes.
