This appears to be the first weekend of rain this season here in Redlands. I love the rain. These are days for staying in your pajamas all day long (or whatever you wear to bed), watching good movies, drinking tea or hot chocolate, reading a book, and listening to “rainy” music (Van Morrison is typically a good bet).
This is the weather that brings out the romantic in me.
Here’s hoping most every weekend from here on is like this.

I like Norah Jones or Sarah MacLaughlin on days like today. Jazz is also great. Something to make you want to curl up and just watch it come down. Course I have to clean the house today, but I’ll start the day with a cup of tea and a good movie.
I’ve got to clean the apartment a bit myself and even go to the office to pick up something that I forgot. Still, starting the day with some eggs (which happened to have been partially frozen by my fridge), cereal, and English Breakfast is pretty damn good.
